The House Of Viktor And Rolf show at The Barbican in London is a must see

For F/W 1999-2000, Viktor and Rolf showed a couture collection that featured Maggie Rhizer on a revolving pedestal where she was dressed outfit by outfit, layer upon layer like a "Russian Doll". It was a great moment in fashion that I've often heard about but never seen with my own eyes. The brilliant Dutch team gets a retrospective at the Barbican in London running June 18th to September 21. That collection along with the magnificent "Atomic" showing and the 1996 "Launch" are to be restaged and TI considers it a fashion pilgrimage!
