Travel is the great freedom of the contemporary now., the last frontier in the post-globalist sphere that we think of as 'the world". No modern magazine gets that, frames that and celebrates that in more polished form than the recently revived Holiday magazine. In this new issue, themed around Argentina, archival images of presidential visits (in the era of Nixon), scenes of daily and cafe life is bolstered by fashion edits by Bruce Weber, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Jamie Hawkesworth and Karim Sadli. Then mingles with now to create a dream narrative of the world as unlimited space. Its an idea of even greater romance than ever before.
