I was at a location shoot in Williamsburg ...in the grunged out apartment of this vintage clothes dealer/stylist/musician/uber-hipster superior. She was driving me nuts by the way she was trying jack the title of stylist on the shoot. Then she puts some Zola Jesus on the turntable...yes a TURNTABLE...the spinning thing complete with needle and vinyl.The first notes of Zola floated up and all was forgiven. God I love a lo-fi symphony.

Hmmm...I normally love your music recommendations. This not so much. Too derivative. Too Siouxsie. I loves me some Siouxsie Sioux but this sounds like what a unofficial movie about Siouxsie and the Banshees might use as a stand in band. Nice that vinyl is still being produced and played though.
