I just got the most hilarious email from a certain member of the Hiss Squad, (self-chosen code name "Deep Throat") celebrating the joys of Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.
I had paid scarcely any attention to the credits on this Adriana Lima edit (ironically enough , booked at DNA ) and thought the story was styled as a gesture of high 80's irony. That is until Deep Throat schooled me as to the consistency of line that is the Carlyne Cerf signature.

She is one of my favorite stylists ever – each editorial she styles is a self-portrait
She has common themes – Hermes scarves, vintage Levi’s denim, bracelets, charm bracelets, bangles and watches….and a piece of Vuitton & Alaia. She owns these perennials.
And all capped off with a baseball cap – preferably from the luxury brand of her choice – Carlyne wears her heart on her sleeve – literally.
And now she has taken it to a whole other level – FRENCH VOGUE
