The Hiss Squad hinted and hinted and finally its here...V's 14 cover extravaganza as shot by Inez and Vinoodh. Now what's 15 X $8.95 again? The real fun part of the buzz around V 55 will be the party tommrrow night with DJ sets by Abbey Lee, Anja Rubik, Anna Selezneva, Catherine McNeil, Doutzen Kroes, Eniko Mihalik, Hilary Rhoda, Malgosia Bela, Racquel Zimmerman, Sunniva Stordahl and our favorite supermodel of them all, Spencer Product.
It should be mega-banging.
Um French called and wants their idea back.
What is good about this? The images are acceptable at best. The hair is under produced and not in a good way. The make up is very subtle stripper when the images are clean. It is not like the girls selected can't show power. I mean not in the baker's dozen model face poses circa 1984. I mean with the talent working on this set and the models. I am pretty sure my aunt sandy and her avon make-up kit and the Sears photo specialist could have knocked this out in an afternoon. Shame on you Inez and Vinoodh, Shame on you V. Shame on anyone that buys more than one of these.

I agree, although not as harshly. I think the shot of Daria is the only cover-worthy shot. The rest I have no connection with. Sunniva's is actually pretty nice as well.

It is AMAZING!!! And Anna's cover is just beyond gorgeous....she has the works. I am guessing she is not on the MDC Top 50 yet because she is not placed outside of Paris yet?

the invite is pretty amazing. its all of the 15 covers folded like an accordion post-it size. when i saw that in the mail i had to pinch myself...you are alive, you live in nyc and if youre going to have a hangover anytime this week, you better get it at this party!
