There seems to be a campaign, subtle yet sustained to get that YSL brand once and for all connected to the modern world. It started with that fantastic subway series of Naomi images from the I&V A/W 08 campaign. Then there's been the outspoken media moments as forged by Stefano Pilati in Interview as well as the upcoming issue of the New York Times Magazine . Now with the pending giveaway of Manifesto (the inhouse YSL mag ) complete with free logo tote, you get the feeling that the Yves Saint Laurent message has gone mass.
PS TI adores their new website (http://www.ysl.com/us/en/index.aspx?xtor=AD-75). It's a very clean, clear, sharp form of provocation.
