Sheila Marquez loves a strong shoe
Today I worked with photographer Kikuko Usuyama on a shoot with Sheila Marquez from Women and Hanne Gaby from Supreme for a Fall Model's Look edit for Spur. Without knowing it I had ended up booking two girls who were best friends (along with Kasia Struss). I can't spoil all the brilliant visuals the girls kicked up but I had the best time watching them dress up. Things I learned today?
Sheila Marquez works a look...in the middle of her street in Brooklyn. Now that's a model.
1.Cool girls are mad for all things Balenciaga, Marni, Prada and Miu-Miu. And both girls were breathless for the dresses from Balmain FW 08.
2. Sheila is the sweetest girl imaginable. She had breakfast perfectly curated on a tray for the crew who was shooting at her house.
3. Hanne is so effortlessly cool its eerie. Both girls want to go into styling after modeling. In fact if I had magazine I'd let them style all they wanted. Wait...there's a thought forming in my head.

Styling
Personally, I would let Sheila and Hanne dress me whenever they felt like it. Everything they wear is effortless above all else. Nothing ever looks contrived or forced with those two. They may love fashion, but what each has is a true and pure sense of style. Adore them!
