During my quick spin through LA a few weeks ago I spent a long and languorous afternoon getting a guided tour of the Zune LA headquarters. Housed in photographer Greg Gorman's old studio, the Zune HQ is a wonderful convergence of technology, art and a lot of design . I vibed to the latest in technology, from the state of the art audio-visual system in the massive event space, to getting to play with the new Surface which I need in the living room now. I loved that what could have been a generic and sterile industrial space was customized with the markings of local LA artists and that the downstairs room is built to host the most banging of parties. My host, The Syndicate, had to drag me out at the end of the day. In any case, I just wanted to put out the signals to the photography nation, that if you're looking for a champion venue in LA to shoot in..you should drop me a message. Just one more reason why I love the West Coast , no?
