Eva Mendes:Mikael Jansson: Interview August 2008: via tfs
The new Interview has landed and this Eva Mendes cover feels oddly familiar...Very 90's Interview, back when Baron had his first spin at the title ..specifically that cover of Johnny Depp with the hand lettered scripting swirling around his face. The month and year escapes me but I suspect I've got it buried in the reference library in Brooklyn. Off to excavate. Comparison scan to follow!

Mert and Marcus/Herb Ritts
This image is also reminiscent of the POP cover of J.Lo that Mert and Marcus did a few summers ago.
This is totally copied from their Ibiza light and reminds me also of the Pirelli work that they did although it was less greasy than this. It is true though that Herb Ritts did it way before them.
