It was clear from the start that Robert Brownjohn was made of exceptional stuff, in those days when he was a prized student of Laszlo Moholy-Nagy . Brownjohn was the mastermind behind some of the most perverse album covers of The Rolling Stones. He forged that legacy of those too sexy opening credit sequence for the James Bond flicks , most famously on "Goldfinger" . And of course all that talent, money and success went to his head to trigger a tragedy of excess that is one of those great cautionary tales of the design industry. Suffice it to say, Sex and typography (if for the title alone) is a must buy. I mean how many graphic designers provoke talk of a Hollywood screen play?
