assume vivid astro focus had a banging kick off for their new exhibit " Absolutely Venomous Accurately Fallacious (Naturally Delicious)" at Deitch Studios Long Island City and artist Jayson Keeling was there to cover the ...err "vivid" proceedings. Here's his eyewitness report:

Went to a cool one night party / event / happening
near my home last night. It was the opening of a new
exhibition by Assume Vivid Astro Focus at the Deitch
Studios, Long Island City location. There was a great
performance by Honeychild Coleman (she brought it),
The crowd ( A mess in the best way possible...
inspired), the art, like the press release says,
sprawling and vivid, and the DJ proceeded from there
to make everyone feel like a virgin...tore up, shiny
and new.
